Great robust mechanism.
I’m not a gunsmith, just a skilled craftsman who decided to add an adjustable comb to my gun. Just purchased another gun and have installed 2 of these now. They have a big platform which i like and they are super sturdy and strong and i feel like once i have it set, no way is it moving. The top piece is pretty big and deep for the well you need to route out, so if you don’t have a deep enough top piece to install this into you’ll run into issues getting it to fit. So be careful with that. Also doesn’t come with wood screws for attachment, so you’ll need 8 stainless #8 screws for setting the plates.
